Walgreens is a national supporter of the American Heart Association’s Life is Why campaign

Walgreens, a Life is Why campaign supporter since the program originated, has hosted a campaign in multiple cities and regions across the country, including Chicago, Houston, Orlando, Philadelphia, and throughout New York state and New Jersey, to name a few. Walgreens invites customers to donate at checkout as well as displays red hearts throughout the store during the campaign.

In addition, Walgreens and their employees generously support and participate in local AHA events across the country, such as Heart Walks, Heart Balls and Go Red for Women luncheons, and has graciously supported their executives who serve in leadership roles for the American Heart Association. Most recently, Walgreens leadership chaired Heart Walk events in both Chicago and Orlando.
